A successful and supportive secondary school in Coventry is seeking an enthusiastic Temporary Maths Teacher to join the department on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for a confident practitioner who can quickly build rapport and deliver high-quality lessons that keep students engaged and progressing.

About the Role

Temporary position covering KS3 and KS4 Maths (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Deliver well-structured and inspiring lessons aligned with the school curriculum
Maintain strong behaviour management and a positive learning environment
Use assessment data to support student progress throughout the contract period
Work collaboratively with the Maths department to ensure consistency and high standards

Skills & Experience We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT working toward completion
Solid subject knowledge with the ability to explain concepts clearly and creatively
Experience teaching in a secondary school environment
Strong classroom management and the ability to adapt quickly in a temporary post
Organised, proactive, and confident when stepping into an existing team
Ability to motivate students and support varying abilities
