Full Time – 35 hours per week, Term Time Plus 10 days
Grade 4 (£22,373-£25,914) FTE per annum, Actual Salary – (£18,021-£20,874) per annum
We are looking to recruit an Administrator to support as Sixth Form Learning Mentor and Pupil services.
Responsibilities- Support the Sixth Form Learning Mentor role to help students progress academically and personally: supervise independent study periods, guide students in effective study skills, monitor attendance and engagement, provide mentoring to overcome barriers to learning, work with the Sixth Form team to deliver pastoral support, maintain accurate records, communicate with parents and staff, and contribute to a positive, purposeful environment where every student can thrive.
- Pupil services role based in the main school office supporting senior school students. First point of contact for pupils, help with lost property and timetables. Complete afternoon registration and updates isams. Provide a friendly and helpful hub for all members of the Bablake community.
- Carry out a variety of shared general administration tasks: email management, filing, photocopying, supporting staff in the preparation for and facilitation of meetings, and taking responsibility for specific tasks such as the school calendar, managing staff training records, and the organisation of the co-curricular programme.
- Experience of working in an office/administration environment is essential; school-based experience would be highly desirable, although full training will be provided.
- Excellent communication skills with a calm, professional and personable manner; ability to relate to all staff and pupils within the school environment.
- Computer literate with the ability to work on your own, make decisions, show initiative in line with established processes and policies; able to plan and organise your own work and cope with interruptions and changing priorities.
