SEND Early Years Educator

Responsibilities

• Assist children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to engage fully in learning and reach their potential.
• Work closely with families, staff, and external agencies to create tailored support plans that meet each child's needs.
• Promote an inclusive, nurturing environment where all children feel valued, supported, and able to thrive.

• Level 2 qualified in a UK-recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Experience of working with children with SEND requirements.

• Enhanced DBS check will be required for this role. A Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate is mandatory for all positions; this role will be subject to enhanced checks as part of safeguarding duties. Staff and volunteers must complete regular safeguarding training.
