Automotive Technical Trainer. Education & Training

Our client, a leader in the automotive training sector, is currently seeking a Technical Trainer in Coventry. This is a permanent role that calls for an engineer with a strong passion for the automotive industry and a keen interest in learning and development.

• Deliver a professional learning experience every time
• Provide agreed number of days of learning through a blended approach of virtual and attended courses
• Conduct technical training events such as new product or technical update meetings
• Deliver technical training across partner groups
• Propose continual improvements to course structure and delivery
• Provide technical learning for new inductees and assess their competence
• Offer individual coaching for delegates as required
• Create training solutions that deliver added value
• Adapt teaching style to suit the audience, ensuring consistent delivery of key messages
• Build positive working relationships with staff and management teams

• Experience in a training delivery role with preferable experience in technical training
• Understanding and preferably a qualification in High Voltage systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in recognising and responding to different learning styles
• Strong personal presence, confidence, and credibility
• Ability to interact with a wide variety of delegates
• Flexibility and resilience
• Willingness to travel and stay away if required
• Ability to deliver blended learning methods, including virtual training (training will be supplied)
• Holding a teaching/learning qualification is preferred
• Self-starter with proactive and flexible approach
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
