Riverbank Academy (part of Sidney Stringer Multi Academy Trust) is looking for a dedicated Health Care Teaching Assistant to join our team in Coventry, West Midlands. This role supports class leads and teachers in the development and educational provision of learners, working on a permanent, full‑time oruan part‑หาร

You’ll be responsible for working in partnership with class leads and support staff to support the individual care of studentsuctor spatially. You will provide structured support and guidance for students in developing their independence, physical and social needs. You will provide supervision, personal care, and moving and handling support for students with SEND, including lunch‑time supervision and after‑school break duties as part of the rota.

• Support the individual care of students to enable them to develop their independence.
• Provide structured support and guidance for students’ physical and social development.
• Supervise, provide personal care, and deliver moving‑and‑handling support for students with SEND.
• Assist with lunchtime supervision, after‑school activities, and break duties following the school rota.

• A desire to continjour improving literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
• Grade C in English and Maths (required).
• Qualification to A level (AS / A level) desirable.
• Experience leading lessons within a community, mainstream or special school context.
• Ability to walk long distances and stand for long periods to support student transitions and enrichment activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work in tandem with teaching staff.
• Empathetic and understanding of students’ needs.
