Teaching Assistant - Primary

About the Role:

As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will be working alongside our talented teachers to help deliver high-quality lessons and provide tailored support to students across a range of subjects. You'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners, encouraging their academic growth and personal development.

• Assist the teacher with planning and delivering engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 pupils.
• Provide one-on-one and group support to students who may require additional help.
• Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and help create inclusive learning opportunities.
• Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and enthusiasm for learning.
• Help with classroom management and organization.
• Support students in developing their social and emotional skills.
• Assist with assessment and record-keeping as required.

• Has a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.
• Is patient, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with students.
• Has excellent communication skills and is able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ideally has experience in a primary school or KS2 setting, though this is not essential.
• Is proactive, flexible, and committed to creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
