Finham Park Multi Academy Trust is delighted to recruit an enthusiastic, innovative and highly motivated Teacher of Mathematics to join an experienced team with superb facilities. The successful candidate will be required to teach to KS3, KS4 and potentially KS5.
About Finham Park 2Finham Park 2 is an exciting, friendly and supportive 11‑19 co‑educational comprehensive school based on the West side of Coventry, near Solihull and close to Warwick University. Opened in September 2015 we have grown year on year, including our 6th form opened in 2020. In September 2016 we moved to a new building with a brand‑new sports hall and superb refurbishment.
The school is fully staffed with a positive, supportive, forward‑thinking team and is heavily oversubscribed each year. Our latest Ofsted rating (November 2023) described Finham Park 2 as a good school in all areas with a purposeful atmosphere, calm and orderly manner and a highly ambitious curriculum. Staff workload is carefully considered and appreciated.
- Teach curriculum for KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5.
- Deliver a high‑quality, lively and interesting mathematics curriculum.
- Challenge and inspire all students.
- Support and nurture every child’s talents to maximise progress.
- Plan, deliver and assess mathematics lessons for KS3‑5.
- Engage students in meaningful learning experiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain curriculum standards.
- Maintain pupil progress and use data to inform teaching.
- Qualified teacher with the ability to teach KS3‑5.
- Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
- Eligible to work in the UK with no restrictions; proof of Right to Work required.
- Must undergo and pass enhanced DBS check and online safe‑recruitment checks.
