Position: Home School Liaison Officer

Home School Liaison Officer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional Home School Liaison Officer to support children whose education is at risk due to attendance related issues at Lyng Hall School, part of the Finham Park Multi Academy Trust.

Grade 5, Salary £28,598 - £34,434 FTE (Actual £23,475 - £28,265.55)

Work 35 hours per week (8am to 3.30pm) – Term Time Only plus 1 week. Permanent – Start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children whose education is at risk due to attendance related issues, particularly vulnerable groups such as Looked A…
  • Identify attendance problems, assess need, implement effective action and evaluate outcomes against agreed objectives.
  • Work closely with teaching staff and parents to develop and implement attendance strategies.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students and families.
  • Collaborate with other support staff to ensure a high quality educational experience for all pupils.
