We currently have a new opportunity for a dynamic and flexible Art and Design Technician to join our team.
Job OverviewTo provide high-quality technical support to the Art & Design faculty, ensuring safe, effective preparation of materials, tools, and equipment, including woodwork and workshop machinery, to facilitate outstanding teaching and learning across Art, Design, and Textiles.
Qualifications- Minimum GCSE or equivalent in English and mathematics
- Experience working in an art, design, workshop, or creative environment
- Experience using machinery or hand tools safely
- Practical skills in art, design, craft, or workshop processes
- Ability to safely operate and maintain workshop tools and machinery (training can be provided)
As an Art and Design Technician within Sidney Stringer Academy, you’ll be able to make a key difference to a pupil’s educational experience as a crucial part of the wider team, and will have the opportunity to develop your skill set with key training and development opportunities available.
