Construction Estimator

A respected main contractor is looking to appoint an Estimator or Senior Estimator to join their commercial team, working on a wide range of schemes across the Midlands and surrounding areas. Projects typically sit between £2m–£35m
, covering education, healthcare, commercial, and community sectors.

• Produce accurate cost estimates for both competitive tenders and negotiated projects.
• Liaise with pre-construction, design, and delivery teams to understand project scope and requirements.
• Engage with supply chain partners to ensure competitive and complete pricing.
• Lead elements of the bid process and present value-engineering options where appropriate.

• Proven experience working as an Estimator within a main contractor environment.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
• Clear communicator, confident working independently and as part of a wider team.
