We are looking for a reliable, flexible and committed Lead Driller to join our Geotechnical team. As a member of Geotechnical, it is key that you are able to work efficiently as part of a team, as well as independently. While you may be performing the same array of tests day to day, the projects you undertake and the locations you are working from will constantly change, meaning no two days will be the same.

• SOCOTEC Drilling Academy – giving you the opportunity to achieve Level 3 Diploma in Land Drilling
• Further vocational qualifications in Plant Operation
• Recognised through audit by the British Drilling Association
• Further industry recognition including becoming a Registered Ground Engineering Professional (RoGEP)
• Working on iconic UK infrastructure projects

• Advance boreholes to site‑specific specification
• Take samples as per instruction
• Install monitoring instruments into the borehole
• Reinstate the completed borehole to client’s requirements

• Level 2 Diploma Land Drilling (Lead Driller) Qualification
• Right to work without restriction in the UK
• Aptitude to learn and build your skillset
