Early Years Educator Term Time

Overview

We are looking for an enthuastic and passionate Early Years Educator to work within our small staff team in an outstanding preschool with children aged 2-4 years old. Our ideal candiadate should have previous experience in a key person role. Experience working with 2-4 year olds.

Eastern Green Preschool is a charity run non
-profit Committee run preschool it has been running for over 20 years offering outstanding childcare for the wider community and families. We have been Ofsted registered since 2004, and our staff team have maintained outstanding Ofsted since 2015.

You will be expected to continue to work with the ethos of the preschool and have a very flexible approach to your position, offering outstanding care and education to the children alongside our staff team, you will be employed by the committee of Eastern Green Preschool Playgroup.

Following the Early years foundation Statutory framework 2025 Care and education of the children

• Providing an outstanding inclusive provision for children and their families to learn and develop, using your knowledge of the Early year’s foundation stage, Birth to 5 matters and Development matters.
• Key worker for a group of children and their families.
• Safeguarding Staff, children, and their families.
• Follow the statutory EYFS requirements set out in the Early year’s statutory framework.
• Follow the SEND code of practice.
• EYFS Key workers planning and implementation.

• Full and relevant NVQ Level 3 or above
• First aid
• Safeguarding
• Enhanced DBS

Term Time.

19.5 hours as follows: 8.30 am - 3 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday.

(Possibility to increase further hours if required Monday & Thursday mornings).
