Working Pattern:
Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week, plus 1 week per month office-based (duty)
The Role
We are recruiting an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our client’s Children in Care (0–12s) Team in Coventry. The role involves undertaking all statutory duties for Children in Care, with a strong focus on court work and safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing all aspects of court work, from Interim Care Order through to conclusion
* Undertaking all aspects of PLO
* Statutory duties for Children in Care, Child Protection and Children in Need
* Supporting children subject to Care Orders and Supervision Orders
* Working collaboratively with the team, ensuring children remain at the centre of decision-making
About the Team
The Children in Care Service (0–12s) supports children through the court process and their long-term journey, including adoption, fostering, connected persons placements and reunification.
Essential Requirements
* Qualified Social Worker
* Significant experience in Children in Care statutory work
* Strong and confident court and PLO experience
* Sound safeguarding knowledge and team-working skills
