Toddler Room Leader – Diploma Qualified | Hourly rate: $36 with 2+ years experience as a Room Leader

Are you a passionate and dedicated childcare professional looking to make a difference in the lives of young children? Our vibrant childcare centre in Southbank is seeking a qualified Room Leader for our 2-3 year old room.

This service is in the heart of Southbank, with a tram on your doorstep and parklands across the road. We are a small and cosy centre with only 50 children split across our long day care. We have a kindergarten program, nursery and toddler room. Our opening hours are 7am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday.

• Lead and support a team of educators in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate programs that foster learning and development.
• Maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and centre policies.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to balance daily tasks and responsibilities.

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
• Proven leadership qualities and a collaborative mindset.
• Current WWCC VIC & National Police Clearance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Be an experienced and passionate advocate for the early education sector.
• Always advocate for children’s rights.
• 2+ years experience in a Room Leader role within the Early Childhood sector.
• Be reliable and dedicated.
