Main Purpose of the Job- To support BPIF Membership Recruitment activities and Retention that result in:
- High and on-target Membership Recruitment and Retention of Members through the delivery of increased value.
- Recruitment of New Members and Groups to agreed levels.
- Providing Qualified Leads and Referrals for commercial products and services to meet revenue targets.
- Understanding the value and benefits of BPIF Membership, and associated services, to members, prospects and complex groups.
- Developing an extensive working knowledge of all products and services and understanding how they relate to delivering high membership value.
- Understanding the needs of the industry and keeping abreast of any changes or developments.
- Maintaining accurate and up to date CRM data on members and prospect.
- Developing reports and providing analysis of data.
- Providing good and timely entry of activities and other systems in use.
- Attending and speaking at events and exhibitions to increase the visibility and value of BPIF.
- Supporting the development of campaigns, literature, social media and other marketing activities.
- Working closely with the membership team and other internal departments.
- Being a brand ambassador for BPIF.
- Driving on target Membership Growth.
- Developing a designated territory by qualifying the needs of large and complex businesses and opportunities for BPIF.
- Building and maintaining an accurate, substantial and robust new member prospect list.
- Working with the Membership lead and team to identify priorities.
- Writing and delivering bespoke presentations to Directors or at Board Level.
- Providing value through speaking at industry events, exhibitions and other opportunities.
- Converting prospects into Members to meet both your own and the organisations targets.
- Managing required membership documentation and procedures.
- Working with and contributing to the retention plan to ensure that Members in your region receive full engagement and value from their membership building relationships with multiple contacts at sites and across groups.
- Providing support to colleagues as required,
- Increasing the Retention figures of both allocated members and the overall membership.
- Having a lead role with communities, forums and special interest groups (SIGs), delivering good engagement and high value.
- Providing qualified leads and referrals to internal departments, including increased Membership Levels, SIGs, BPIF Training, Consultancy, Commercial Partners and Products, and other products and services as available.
Skills:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of the print industry would be a distinct advantage.
- IT competencies:
Advanced – Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). - Proven relationship management and business development skills.
- Demonstrable experience in leading meetings and pitches to key stakeholders.
- Ability to operate quickly and effectively, with a strong service and entrepreneurial attitude.
- Experience in identifying opportunities for cooperation between members and support services delivered by the organisation.
- Experience meeting targets and delivering improvement and new services.
- Experience in developing and implementing engagement strategies.
- Ability to work with and influence stakeholders to achieve goals.
- Detailed understanding of CRM databases and the needs of data management.
- Experience of the print industry
