This is a full time role 36.5 hrs per week. Flexibility is required as this role will require occasional weekends. Campus Cleaning Services provides cleaning across 7,076 campus bedrooms, 479 hotel rooms and 65 University buildings.
AboutThe Role
We are looking for a Facilities Assistant to join the Campus Cleaning Services team within the Estates Department. We are looking for a candidate who can provide an efficient, customer focused portering, manual handling and minor maintenance service.
Flexible Working- We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis (e.g. job share), despite the position being advertised as full-time.
You will need to be a good team player, who works well with others and is keen to provide excellent customer service for our students, staff and visitors to the University.
A level of physical activity is required for this role, and candidates should be able to carry out manual handling.
Please note, as this role will involve driving University vehicles, to be covered by the University Vehicle Insurance Policy, you must be in possession of a full UK or EU equivalent licence, which has been in force for at least 1 year and have no serious driving convictions (any period of disqualification must have expired by at least 1 year).
