Supplier Commercial Manager FMCG / Food Private Label & Branded Products Coventry (Hybrid 3 days office-based) £40,000 £ 50,000  Bonus and exceptional benefits We are working exclusively with a highly respected, privately owned FMCG business that sits at the heart of the UK food supply chain, partnering with major retailers and international manufacturers to deliver innovative private label and branded products.

This is a genuinely unique commercial role not off-the-shelf sales. You will become the pivotal link between European suppliers and UK retail customers, shaping strategy, managing complex development processes, and influencing outcomes across multiple stakeholders. You wont be the person closing the deal with the retailer instead, youll thrive on building deep supplier relationships, navigating complexity, and driving projects forward from concept through to launch.

Its a role for someone who gets their buzz from the journey, not just the finish line. The Opportunity As Supplier Commercial Manager, you will:
Build and develop long-term strategic relationships with international suppliers Act as the commercial bridge between suppliers, sales, technical and development teams Lead private label product development activity from brief through to launch Balance supplier ambitions with the realities of UK retail Influence, problem-solve and drive momentum across complex, multi-stage projects Help shape the future supplier portfolio in line with business strategy This is a business where collaboration is everything titles matter less than outcomes, and everyone rolls their sleeves up when needed.

What Were Looking For This role suits someone who has:

Experience with in FMCG / food, ideally with exposure to major UK retailers A strong understanding of private label or retailer-led product development Excellent relationship management and communication skills A solution-focused, resilient and tenacious mindset The ability to thrive in a role with moving parts, long timelines and high complexity An enjoyment of process, influence and delivery not just the win You might currently be an Account Manager, Commercial Manager, NPD Commercial Lead or similar, and be seeking a role with greater depth, autonomy and long-term impact.

Package & Practicalities Salary: £40,000 £ 50,000 Bonus:
Discretionary annual bonus plus company profit bonus

Location:

Coventry hybrid working (minimum 3 days in the office) Travel:
