Job Summary
An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, flexible and well‑organised individual to join our friendly team as an Oncology Psychology Support Secretary. The role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure and a good understanding of the patient pathway. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, liaising with patients, medical staff, general practitioners and referring hospitals.

ResponsibilitiesThe main duties include acting as the department’s first point of contact, managing enquiries and correspondence, maintaining accurate documentation and coordinating appointments and waiting lists. You will provide administrative support such as preparing correspondence, filing, processing post and managing office systems, produce documentation from dictation, contribute to service improvement via data collection, use Trust IT systems, liaise with patients and clinicians, and provide cover to team members.
