Receptionist​/Administration Assistant

Overview

Receive and greet visitors, manage reception and telephone duties, and perform various administrative tasks in the Haematology Department at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.

• Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, staff and patients, responding to routine enquiries and referring matters where appropriate.
• Carry out administrative duties including printing, mailing, data entry and maintaining both computerised and manual filing systems.
• Support the Phlebotomy and nurse‑led clinics by managing clinic documents, posting letters, and ensuring accurate record keeping.
• Record and update patient and service information accurately in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
• Communicate with staff, patients and external organisations using appropriate methods.
