Job role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the Radiology Medical Rota Team on a full‑time basis. You will provide efficient administrative and support services for the Radiology Medical Workforce.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage, staff and coordinate the medical rotas on a day‑to‑day basis.
  • Assist in the design, preparation and publication of rotas.
  • Maintain detailed attention to work load and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Display leadership and accountability for all issues pertaining to rotas.
  • Communicate effectively with Senior Management and Medical Staff.
  • Deliver high‑quality support for service and customers through excellent organisation and communication skills.
  • Remain calm under pressure, manage tight deadlines and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Support divisions to ensure the provision of high‑quality patient care by deploying appropriate staff efficiently.
Required skills and experience
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Willingness to adapt to change and learn new skills.
  • Good knowledge of general administration and clerical procedures.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritise workload effectively.
