We are looking for a hard‑working, determined and enthusiastic individual to support our regional credit control manager in administering and controlling the accounts receivable function.
As our new part‑time Accounts Receivable Administrator
, you will play your part in helping the team achieve its KPIs and targets. Our credit control team are driven, fast‑paced in their working style and above all supportive of each other.
- Sorting and distributing accounts receivable incoming emails and electronic documents
- Sorting and filing of accounts receivable scanned paperwork
- Identifying variances between customer invoices, despatch notes and proof of delivery
- Checking, amending and processing sales invoices
- Sending sales invoices by email and EDI
- Progressing any customer complaints through the company complaints process. Monitoring and updating the status of customer returns and complaints
- Following up on outstanding returns and complaints, both internally and externally by email and phone
- Providing copy documents to both internal and external customers.
As team work is really important to us at Becketts Foods, you will also assist accounts administrators, credit control and team managers, when necessary, including supporting our other sites.
Ideally, you will have:- AAT L3 qualification (or working towards) or equivalent
- An understanding of and experience of accounting principles
- Confidence using MS Office, including basic Excel skills
- A good standard of written English
- Strong organisation skills
- Positive communication
- A positive team‑work approach
- Ability to work on your own initiative
- Ability to read and interpret documents.
- Salary £18,206.64 – 22.5 hours
- 28 days’ holiday (pro‑rata), with the option to buy up to five extra days
