Semi Senior Accountant

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Semi-Senior Account Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a part-qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) or someone with relevant practice experience looking to advance their career within a dynamic firm. You'll work closely with senior accountants and managers to deliver outstanding service to our clients.

• Manage a portfolio of accounting clients across a range of industries
• Serve as the main point of contact, building strong and long‑term client relationships
• Oversee the delivery of accounting, tax, and compliance services to agreed deadlines
• Conduct regular client meetings to review financial performance, discuss requirements, and provide guidance
• Identify opportunities to support clients with additional services such as tax planning, advisory, or business support
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with regulatory standards
• Ensure client records are kept up to date and compliant with relevant accounting and tax regulations
• Monitor changes in legislation and proactively advise clients on potential impacts

• Part-qualified ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a UK-based accounting practice
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and relevant regulations
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero, Quick Books or Sage
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A team player with a client‑first attitude
