Overview

Cafe Associate at Sam's Club. This role involves preparing food, serving members, and maintaining a clean, welcoming café environment. The base pay range is $18.00/hr - $25.00/hr your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience; speak with your recruiter to learn more.

Be a Team Member:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with team members; adapt to the needs of the business.

Be an Expert:
Prepare food according to item specifications; plan future productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution.

Be a Techie:
Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology for production decisions, ordering, receiving club pickup orders, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.

Be an Owner:
Drive area performance; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control; minimize waste; provide member service by acknowledging needs and assisting with purchasing decisions.

Be a Talent Ambassador:
Act as a brand advocate; inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style; identify roadblocks and assist in training.

Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; supports open communication and applies these in business processes and practices.

Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners; manages priorities and deadlines; communicates progress and information; seeks continuous improvement and adapts to feedback.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older. (Outlined as required minimum qualifications.)

Preferred Qualifications
:
Food Service;
Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification.
