Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the ICU is responsible for providing high-level care to critically ill patients with conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, stroke, and myocardial infarction within a 16-bed unit. The nurse will maintain a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and is required to titrate drips.
Responsibilities:
Provide care for ICU patients, managing ventilators and bipaps.
Titrate various drips including vasopressors and sedation.
Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists for patient care management.
Float to Progressive Care Unit as needed.
Requirements:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum of 2 years ICU experience preferred.
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; PALS and TNCC preferred.
Ability to read and verify telemetry strips.
