Maintenance Mechanic

Overview

Maintenance Technician II – Council Bluffs, IA

• $28–$33/hr based on experience
• $1.50/hr differential for 2nd shift
• $1.75/hr differential for 3rd shift

• 2nd shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday–Friday
• 3rd shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM, Sunday–Thursday
• Rotating shift: 6:45 PM – 6:45 AM

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure reliability
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints
• Use tools such as voltmeters and work with gear reducers, motors, cylinders, valves, and actuators
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency
• 2+ years industrial maintenance experience
• 2+ years hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience
• 2+ years electrical experience (480v)

• Manufacturing and production setting
• Exposure to heights, moving machinery, temperature changes, dust, odors, and fumes
• Loud environment requiring safe work practice

This is a Permanent position based out of Council Bluffs, IA.

The pay range for this position is $58323.00 - $64792.00/yr. 401k, pto, health insurance, paid holidays, overtime potential

This is a fully onsite position in Council Bluffs, IA.

This position is anticipated to close on Feb 5, 2026.
