PositionSummary
The Bilingual HR Generalist will own the outcome of HR processes ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness while providing guidance to staff supporting recruiting and payroll activities.
What You’ll Do- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance and proper documentation
- Administer HRIS and maintain system integrity, including HR system implementations, EDI maintenance, and carrier connection feeds
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of all HR systems and records
- Serve as liaison with external benefits providers
- Support benefits enrollment and related events
- Administer day-to-day benefits activities and leave management
- Oversee payroll support and provide guidance to staff assisting with payroll; ensure timely and compliant processing
- Support full-cycle recruiting in partnership with hiring managers
- Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee engagement programs
- Respond to routine HR inquiries from employees regarding policies, procedures, benefits, and HR programs
- Participate in employee relations matters including disciplinary actions and terminations
- Support performance review processes and documentation
- Participate in the preparation and execution of training and development initiatives across the organization
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Assist with policy development and updates
- Perform other HR-related duties and projects assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Minimum of 3 years of professional HR experience, preferably in warehouse, logistics, cold storage, or manufacturing environments
- Execution-focused with strong ownership and follow-through
- Ability to guide/support staff without direct supervisory authority
- Knowledge of HR operations, payroll, benefits, HRIS, and compliance
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Professional discretion and confidentiality
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, operational environments
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
