Shift: Nights/ 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36hrs/week Length: 13 Weeks
Weekend Requirements Every 3rd weekend, can be considered for more if requested

Holiday Requirements Rotated with the perm staff

Is there a call or standby requirement? Typically no, may volunteer if low census
Requirements:

• IA license
• 2 years' experience
• Must have Ability to read cardiac telemetry
• Experience with chest pain and post heart caths if working in acuity higher than Med Surg
• Must be proficient with ortho
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS

Other Details:

Nurse:

Patient Ratios MS/Tele: 1:6-7, PCU:
Days 1:4, Nights 1:4-5, ICU: 1:1 1:2 3 if they have overflow

No floating to L&D for the float pool travelers. No Peds experience required but is helpful.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients ICU: STEMI, CVA- TPA, Sepsis, Multiorgan failure, Covid, EKOS, arrest, overdose, COPD, CHF, Pneumonia, DKA, post vascular, Swanz, code freeze,
-travelers won't take IABP or Impella unless proficient
