Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $17.00 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is requested.
• Make guests aware of current promotions, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to resolve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Thank guests and let them know you’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Know and discuss the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Explain how to use features and offerings within the Target App, including Wallet.
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; direct guests to enroll, activate, and use these features.
• Handle returns by following policy prompts and collaborating with Leaders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area by gathering unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removal.
• Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to assist guests.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as Order Pick Up (OPU), Drive-Up (DU) Orders, and DU Returns while complying with applicable laws (including adult beverage laws where applicable).
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed.

• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within established time frames.

• Accurately handle checkout operations, transactions, and support cash office operations as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely; frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds with or without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance required.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
