Overview
Park High School is seeking a dynamic, highly qualified candidate to serve as Varsity Assistant Wrestling Coach. Compensation:
Contract is based on Teacher's Contract Schedule C - 32 base points x $142 per point plus experience.
- Proven experience in teaching and modeling character and responsible behavior.
- Positive, high energy, and committed.
- Partners well with parents, staff, community leaders, etc.
- View success not just as winning; but as helping team members to reach goals.
- Orientation toward continuous improvement and transformational coaching, including a transformational coaching purpose statement.
A valid Minnesota coaching certificate (or alternative qualifications) is preferred for assistant coaches and is REQUIRED for head coaches.

Reports To and GoalsReports to:
Head Varsity Wrestling coach and Park High School Athletics/Activities Director, who provides overall job objectives and observes performance in conjunction with the High School Principal.
Job goals:
To instruct student-athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for them to realize individual and team success. Concurrently, student-athletes shall receive instruction that will lead to the formulation of moral values, pride in accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline, and confidence. The coach shall demonstrate substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and establish positive relationships with all stakeholders.
