Job Title: Service Technician

Reports To: Service Shop Lead

Pay Range: $27.00 - $56.00 per hour

This information represents our good faith estimate of the base salary range for this position upon hire, based on available data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on geographic location. Individual pay is determined by additional factors including job related skills, experience, applicable education or training and other relevant factors.

• Inspects, diagnoses, repairs, and maintains motorcoaches, commercial and non-commercial vehicles, and other vehicles or machines as directed.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment, free from hazards and unnecessary noise which could lead to distractions from the work at hand.
• Understands and adheres to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintains compliance with all local, state, and Federal regulations applicable to operations, buildings, grounds, and personnel including but not limited to EPA, OSHA, and DOT.
• Documents all repairs made on work orders using shop computers and associated software. Maintains and tracks time and attendance. Works to expand knowledge and skill levels needed to perform maintenance and repairs on both customer and internal vehicles.
• Demonstrates maturity and upholds ABC’s core values at all times.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Diesel experience
• Good organizational skills to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Owns tools necessary to complete assigned responsibilities
• Previous experience with Body and Frame Repairs
• Experience with Interior Component repair/replacement
• Audio/Video knowledge recommended but not required
• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Ability to identify parts needed to effect repairs on vehicles
• EPA certification in Refrigerant handling or ability to pass the test within 30 days of hire

• Self-starter with a positive attitude
• Good attendance
• Willingness to travel, with possible weekend/overtime work

• Ability to move items weighing at least 100 pounds
• Must be able to move constantly for extended periods (80-100% of shift)
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods
