Job Description

The Beauty Advisor will interact with clients to provide an elevated client experience, using a strong desire to sell and deep knowledge of beauty services and tools. The role focuses on delivering personalized assistance, guiding clients toward their goals, and enhancing the overall shopping journey.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve and exceed individual cosmetic sales goals, event sales goals, and department daily & monthly sales goals.
  • Provide a dynamic service presence at each location.
  • Ask appropriate questions to identify client needs and provide effective guidance.
  • Actively participate on social media (e.g., Instagram) to grow a personal brand and business.
  • Demonstrate professional make‑up and treatment consultation and application.
  • Maintain a consistent high level of service by developing excellent client relationships as the brand expert and department representative.
  • Cross‑sell beyond one line to drive results and build the client’s basket.
  • Keenly knowledge all in‑store services and proactively offer the appropriate service to further personalize and enhance the shopping experience.
  • Maintain a positive image as a liaison between the company and Account Executives.
  • Use online clienteling tools to record and maintain client information and preferences.
  • Focus all efforts on providing an exceptional client experience from approach to closing the sale and following up.
  • Maintain counter standards by ensuring a clean, tidy and welcoming space.
  • Ad‑hoc responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 1 year retail experience within the beauty industry.
  • Proven successful sales experience, achieving or exceeding goals.
  • Ability to learn and utilize online clienteling tools and software, and comfort using social media and technology.
  • Generates innovative solutions and collaborates in an inclusive team dynamic.
  • Comfortable with flexible communication styles and establishing positive interpersonal relationships.
  • Good sense of timing, active listening, and ability to cooperate with minimal disruption.
