Role Description

We are seeking an Assistant Manager for an on-site, full-time role at our store located in Costa Mesa, CA. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, training team members, and maintaining inventory accuracy. This role will involve assisting in achieving sales targets, managing staff schedules, and upholding Venchi's high standards of quality and customer experience.

The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Store Manager to implement best practices and ensure operational efficiency while fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for both customers and employees.

Qualifications
  • Retail management experience, including team supervision and daily operations.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Basic proficiency in inventory management, stock organization, and ensuring product quality.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and team challenges effectively.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including the ability to work extended hours, weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Comfortable to work evenings and weekends, that’s when we are at our busiest!
  • Passion for premium food products and experience in the food or hospitality industry is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in retail or hospitality management preferred.
