Riser Fitness, established in 2013, is a multi-unit operator and developer of the Club Pilates franchise system as well as being one of the largest and longest operating franchisees of Club Pilates Studios.

Position

The Retail Assistant supports company-wide retails execution by coordinating inventory flow, seasonal allocations, studio support, merchandising resets, and retail logistics—particularly for studios without a General Manager. This role ensures inventory accuracy, timely product movement, and consistent retail presentation across all locations through close coordination with studios, vendors, and corporate teams.

Responsibilities
  • Inventory & Logistics Management
  • Coordinate seasonal retail product drop-off and pick-up, including allocation of shipments for studios without a General Manager.
  • Maintain and organize corporate retail inventory held at the office, serving as an in-transit hub for seasonal, non-seasonal, and acquired inventory.
  • Track all retail orders using territory tracking sheets and upcoming payments sheets, documenting items, quantities, delivery timelines, and receiving locations.
  • Track all retail shipments by forwarding shipping notifications to receiving studios with clear allocation details.
  • Update upcoming payment sheets once orders are invoiced and note studios with in-transit inventory.
Sales Racks & Product Movement
  • Coordinate the movement of sales racks across districts and company-wide, ensuring racks rotate monthly.
  • Support quarterly combined retail swaps by consolidating district-level inventory, reassorting apparel, and coordinating redistribution and sales rack movement.
Retail Visits & In-Studio Support
  • Conduct retail visits to review assortments, merchandising, and overall retail presentation.
  • Respond to feedback from General Managers about refreshing the studio retail walls and displays.
  • Transfer unused or excess products (e.g., metal hooks, overstocked hangers) between studios as needed to optimize resources.
  • Assist with quarterly inventory processes and help complete local quarterly inventory counts as needed.
Merchandising & Resets
  • Assist with incoming inventory and execute weekly and monthly retail wall resets for studios.
  • Assist with combined inventory swaps and merchandising resets across districts as required.
  • Assist with Acquisition & Soft Opening sets
Systems, Reporting & Communication
  • Maintain the Retail Pictures Chat and maintain the Retail Pictures Log to assess assortments, stock levels, and merchandising standards across studios.
  • Support SKU management in Club Ready by coordinating with team members, who uploads all incoming SKUs and updates the Retail Tracker in real time.
  • Complete all tasks forwarded from the Retail Inbox in a timely and organized manner.
  • Respond to Retail Support Tickets, ensuring issues are logged, tracked, and resolved according to established processes.
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in retail coordination, merchandising
  • Background in fitness, wellness, or lifestyle retail preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and POS/inventory management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines across various studios.
  • A passion for wellness, Pilates, and supporting an inspiring studio environment.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel to studios as needed for merchandising and inventory support up to 30% of the time.
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 25 lbs.
  • Standing or walking for extended periods during studio visits or merchandising setups.
