Base salary or hourly wage range for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. Range is not inclusive of potential bonus or benefits.

Line Cooks (Wok) are responsible for preparing, cooking and plating all the wok line items.

• Learn all Wok recipes, cook times, and cooking techniques per Din Tai Fung’s procedures
• Check ingredient quality prior to cooking
• Cook the ingredients in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s recipes
• Plate the final product in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s plating guidelines
• Prepare and cut garnishes for Wok line items
• Label all items in accordance with Health Department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
• Attend monthly staff meetings and Wok meetings

• Keep all kitchen areas clean and sanitized
• Organize items within the walk-in coolers and freezers
• Lifts/moves boxes, bags, chairs, and tables (up to 50 pounds)
• Assist with ° regular deep cleaning of the kitchen
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all proprietary information, including but not limited to recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
