Final Inspector
Job Purpose:
The Final Inspector is responsible for ensuring that raw material, components, and other production material meets specifications per drawings, data sheets, and other reference material prior to transfer to stores.
Nature of DutiesMust accurately read and comprehend material specifications and drawings.
Record inspection results in Oracle database and maintain accurate hard-copy records.
Process discrepant material using nonconformance forms, inform purchasing of non-conformance.
Accountable for stopping material from release when quality requirements are not met and immediately notify their Group Leader or Supervisor of same.
Amiable to changes in work requirements pertaining to workload, priorities, training, etc.
Education and Experience- Min 4 years Receiving and in-process electronic assembly Inspection experience.
- Prefer high school (or equivalent) education.
- Must be proficient in basic inspection tools, i.e.; micrometer, calipers, pin gages, optical inspection tools including optical comparator, microscope, etc.
- Working knowledge or certification in IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610 and similar workmanship standards.
- Must be proficient in inspection techniques using various inspection tools and equipment to make this determination.
- Must have a self-starting work ethic with little direct supervision in a technical environment and follow instructions, establish priorities in the work-flow according to the strategic needs of the department.
- Must have very good verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge with Oracle and Agile databases.
- IPC 600 and IPC 610 Certification preferred.
- Familiar with other electronic workmanship industry standards preferred.

Salary Range (annual): $36,420.00 - $45,514.00
Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
