Litigation Legal Assistant

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant with 5+ years of CA litigation experience to support a busy litigation practice in beautiful Costa Mesa! The ideal candidate has a strong litigation background, exceptional attention to detail, and advanced document management skills.

• 5+ years of litigation experience in a law firm environment
• California litigation experience required
• Experience supporting Business Litigation, Real Estate, and Labor & Employment matters preferred
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and appellate court filing rules and procedures
• Extensive e-filing and calendaring experience
• Experience preparing tables of contents and tables of authorities
• Excellent proofreading, writing, and formatting skills
• Strong organizational, follow-up, and time-management skill
• Experience with Microsoft Office, iManage or similar document management systems
• Experience with Compu Law, Best Authority - preferred
