Senior Trial Paralegal - Costa Mesa, CA

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support our legal team in all phases of civil litigation, including personal injury matters. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of litigation and trial experience, excellent research and communication skills, and a strong understanding of legal procedures in both state and federal courts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support attorneys through all stages of litigation: case preparation, discovery, trial, and post-trial activities
  • Organize and manage complex litigation files and case databases
  • Draft, revise, and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other parties
  • Prepare and file legal documents with courts and relevant agencies
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence to support litigation cases
  • Manage e-discovery and document production using litigation support software
  • Prepare deposition summaries, exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders
  • Track litigation deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules
  • Liaise with court personnel, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses
  • Assist in trial preparation and coordinate trial logistics
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA‑approved program
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil litigation; personal injury experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in legal research tools, electronic discovery platforms, and litigation software
  • In‑depth knowledge of state and federal court rules and filing procedures
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills
