Registered SUD Counselor (Clinical Technician)

Type:
Hourly, Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Compensation: $21-23 hourly

• AM (6:30am - 3:00pm)
• PM (2:30pm - 11:00pm)
• NOC (10:30pm - 7:00am)

• Direct Client Care:
  Support patients struggling with addiction and mental health disorders through daily activities and programming, appointments, and crisis intervention.
• Safety Checks:
  Conduct regular physical checks on all patients within care (rounds).
• Intakes & Discharges:
  Play a leading role in patient intakes and discharges from the treatment facility.
• Medication Observation:
  Monitor and document client self-administration of medications.
• Group Facilitation:
  Participate in and facilitate substance use disorder and/or mental health group sessions.
• Documentation:
  Take all required notes in the company's electronic medical record system (KIPU).

• License/Credentials: RADT, SUDRC, or RAC (required).
• Education:
  
  High School Diploma / GED or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
• Experience:
  
  1+ years of behavioral healthcare experience (preferred).
• Valid CA Driver's License (required). Current Health Screen / Physical (required). TB Test Clearance (required).
