* Conduct signal-of-interest testing and configure devices as a drone expert.
* Demonstrate a strong passion for drones and drone technology, with in-depth knowledge of various models.
* Serve as the go-to expert on drone technology within the team.
* Perform signal characterizations, including building and recording data.
* Set up, execute, and analyze test experiments according to established procedures, documenting findings.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and root cause production-related issues.
* Update existing test systems to enhance automation, consistency, and coverage based on engineering instructions.
* Maintain and calibrate electrical and mechanical test equipment.
* Document test plans, user instructions, and manuals.
* Travel to test sites and external laboratories as required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Hold FAA Part 107 certification
* Familiarity with Mission Planner and Q Ground Control; experience with Pixhawk or other flight controllers.
* Previous experience conducting signal-of-interest testing and configure devices as a drone expert. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Active engagement in the COTS DJI community.
* Active in the Radio Control (RC) community
* Proficiency in setting up and executing test experiments.
* Strong troubleshooting skills in a production environment.
* Experience with automation and updating test systems. US Salary Range $86,000 - $114,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
