Job Description & How to Apply Below
Our Edge Compute and Communications business line, within the Connected Warfare division, delivers robust, high-performance computing and secure communications solutions directly at the tactical edge. By processing data in real-time and enabling decentralized decision-making, we empower warfighters with actionable intelligence, rapid connectivity, and unparalleled situational awareness in challenging environments.
Connected Warfare is one of Anduril's Business Lines focused on building a next-gen software‑defined distributed C2 architecture focused on orchestrating and automating 3rd party combat‑fielded sensors and strike‑networks for synchronized joint operations. We work with mission partners and operators to deploy reliable and robust capabilities on operational‑relevant fielding timelines to meet complex challenges across the DOW and IC.
WHAT YOU’ll DO
• In partnership with the Program Chief Engineer, own the development and deployment of Anduril’s groundbreaking electromechanical products to meet the operational needs of the Department of War
• Lead a team of program managers who will develop and adhere to strict schedules, cost constraints, and regulatory requirements, with an emphasis on coordinating between multiple hardware production teams, managing supply chains, and ensuring that quality and delivery commitments are met
• Develop strong, trusting relationships with Anduril’s partners and DoW customers, ensuring we have tight feedback loops that enable us to shape solutions, rapidly iterate, and ultimately field solutions faster
• Autonomously execute on broad and/or ambiguous requirements from internal engineering, customers, and third party corporate partners to own successful delivery of outcomes on multiple programs simultaneously
• Develop and implement lightweight processes, tools, and metrics for program planning, scope management, risk management, and customer communication to enable Anduril to move rapidly
• Be high ownership on all pieces of work and become a trusted partner and advisor to Anduril’s engineers
• Foster a creative, high-performance culture within the team, and proactively assess team skills versus needs, identifying personnel development and/or recruitment opportunities to strengthen the team’s capabilities
• Collaborate with finance and business development teams to develop novel pricing strategies for proposals that set Anduril up for long‑term financial and operational success
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 10 years experience managing the development of complex technical systems throughout the product lifecycle
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi‑million‑dollar, high volume hardware deliveries and driving their on‑time, on‑budget completion
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities with the ability to move seamlessly between tactical and the 30,000 ft level
• Experience coordinating multiple internal and external teams within a complex engineering or technology‑focused organization
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences
• Experience assisting in budget creation and process cost optimization
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• In‑depth knowledge of electromechanical products and hands‑on experience with integrated hardware and software systems
• Strong background in managing multidisciplinary teams and interfacing with software development teams
• Demonstrated experience in establishing information dominance in challenging engineering situations by synthesizing communication streams from both internal multi‑disciplinary teams and external stakeholders
• Exposure to land‑based systems, particularly with Military Department experience that translates to client operations
• Experience working within the bounds of a DoW contract vehicle
• Familiarity with the JCIDS process and its application in ongoing project development
