THE POSITION
Orange Coast College is seeking a full‑time, equity‑minded, tenure‑track faculty member in Communication Studies, commencing with the Fall 2026 term. The primary teaching assignment involves all areas of Communication Studies and includes curriculum and program development; participation in department, division, and college committees; participatory governance activities assuming leadership roles both within the department and in the institution; collaboration across disciplines; leveraging of student support resources;
participation in ongoing professional development; and maintaining and performing required accreditation for the program.
The assignment may be day, evening, weekend, online, hybrid, or off‑campus and is subject to change as needed.
