This role is ideal for a Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO) with a strong interest in clinical research. A PhD or Master’s in Clinical Research, Public Health, or a related field is highly preferred. You’ll oversee a growing portfolio of psychiatric research studies, including trials in depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders

Key Responsibilities- Direct and oversee clinical trials conducted across our Orange and Costa Mesa locations
- Ensure compliance with all IRB, FDA, GCP, and sponsor requirements
- Collaborate with pharmaceutical sponsors, CROs, and internal leadership on study selection, protocol design, and site readiness
- Supervise research coordinators and clinical staff involved in study execution
- Maintain the highest standards of ethical research conduct and patient safety
- Perform psychiatric evaluations for study participants
- Serve as Principal or Sub-Investigator on current and future studies
- Monitor patient progress and contribute clinical insights to ongoing protocols
- Communicate with participants about risks, benefits, and the purpose of research activities
- Help expand the research program by identifying new study opportunities and therapeutic areas
- Lead or contribute to internal quality improvement initiatives related to research workflows
- Present outcomes and findings to stakeholders or at scientific conferences (if applicable)
- Collaborate with our interventional psychiatry and clinical teams to ensure continuity of care and integration of research with general practice

- MD or DO with Board Certification in Psychiatry (required)
- PhD or Master’s degree in Clinical Research, Public Health, or related field (strongly preferred)
- Experience as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator in clinical trials
- Knowledge of GCP, FDA regulations, IRB procedures, and clinical trial conduct
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- California medical license (or eligibility)
