Overview
Role:
Associate Creative Director for Goldmind, Synchrony’s in-house creative agency. The Associate Creative Director leads a team, collaborates across creative, client, and account teams, and elevates creative work for business platforms across Synchrony that focus on B2B and B2C audiences.
Our Way of Working
We offer choice and flexibility. The role may be remote, near a hub, or in one of our offices. Occasional in-person engagement activities may require commuting to a nearest office.
Essential Responsibilities- Concept, execute, and direct a wide range of creative projects including marketing campaigns, social, web pages, presentations, emails, display ads, and in-person experiences.
- Collaborate with fellow creatives and outside vendors to exceed project expectations.
- Manage, grow, support and lead creative team members by sharing knowledge, encouraging collaboration and inspiring bold creative thinking that elevates the work.
- Present creative work to team members including creative director, account managers, clients and executive leadership.
- Conduct and participate in creative reviews with feedback aligned to project goals.
- Align vision and maintain responsive communication with manager / creative director.
- Work with account and project managers to clearly outline objectives and allocate appropriate time.
- Uncover insights and connect them to creative work in the Health & Wellness industry.
- Follow budgets, timelines, and internal processes; advocate for changes to improve outcomes.
- Deliver creative solutions that impact brand metrics and business outcomes.
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree OR in lieu of degree, a high school diploma and 8+ years of work experience in digital design and/or video in an advertising agency, digital agency, or video production company.
- A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience delivering integrated and digital projects in an agency or in-house creative group.
- Experience with Adobe Creative programs and Figma.
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced digital production environment.
- Ability to travel occasionally for business needs – up to 5%.
- Must provide a portfolio / work samples to be considered for the role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, graphic design, communications, digital media, or related field.
- Experience in B2B with integrated-campaign building, social media and conceptual thinking.
- Mastery of Adobe Creative programs and Figma;
Figma experience strongly preferred. - Ad Agency or in-house agency experience preferred.
- Experience developing creative solutions for Health & Wellness or Financial Services (fintech/credit card) industries.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and direct management of creative teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to work independently and thrive under pressure.
- Flexible, fast thinker with initiative and strong creative problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Graduate degree preferred.
Grade / Level: 11
The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 – USD annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation offered will be based on experience, skill level, and market considerations. Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro, and Seattle.
