About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Photo Editor and Photography Assistant to curate and enhance high-quality photo content for a fast-paced and established eCommerce jewelry brand. Working closely with our marketing and creative teams, you will be responsible for editing and retouching images to ensure a consistent and polished visual identity. We are looking for a forward-thinking team player who can roll up their sleeves, shape ideas, and edit a high volume of amazing photo content on a quick turnaround basis.
You’ll work directly with our in-house creative team on a wide range of jewelry shots, focusing on studio product photography, outdoor lifestyle photography, flatlays, and more!

- Edit and retouch a variety of images, including but not limited to product shots, lifestyle images, flatlays, and studio shots, to meet company standards.
- Collaborate with the photographer, marketing team, and other team members to understand project goals and requirements.
- Ensure color accuracy, consistency, and overall visual appeal in all edited images.
- Use industry-standard software, specifically Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, to enhance images.
- Manage and organize digital files, maintaining an efficient and well-organized photo library.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, new editing techniques, and software updates to continually improve the quality of our visual content.
- Optimize and resize assets to ensure smooth integration across all parts of the brand.
- Bachelor's degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of professional experience in photo editing.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Portfolio submission required with application.
- Proven experience as a Photo Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing before-and-after examples.
- Proficiency in photo editing software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom) — knowledge of Helicon is a bonus.
- Solid understanding of color correction, retouching, and image manipulation techniques.
- Must have a strong sense of design and aesthetic that can be applied to the fashion/jewelry space.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Must be a team player with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience editing jewelry is a HUGE PLUS.
Compensation: $60k-$70k Based on experience
