The Facilities team is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the facility to ensure operational continuity, safety, and efficiency. This includes running routine safety inspections, partnering with contractors, planning maintenance work, and maintaining records, all of which are crucial to Anduril's ability to operate seamlessly and securely.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join our rapidly growing team in Southern California. In this role, you will assist the Facilities Manager in maintaining the interior and exterior of the building. You will collaborate with various internal stakeholders and assist on projects and manage vendors. You will need a background in mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, and the associated preventative maintenance requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations in our industrial spaces consisting of office, production, manufacturing, and testing support.
  • Assist with the scope for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) work as the space evolves and changes.
  • Receive, delegate, and prioritize facilities‑related service requests. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to address issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Create, process, and track purchase orders for facilities related supplies, equipment, and services.
  • Coordinate and schedule internal engineers or external vendors for preventative and corrective maintenance and ensure internal security and communications procedures are followed.
  • Review service reports and assist with follow‑ups.
  • Perform regular spare part supply audits to assess inventory levels, cleanliness, and organization of supply and equipment areas.
  • Assemble equipment or furniture as needed, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
  • Assist with the management of facility vehicles, including scheduling maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
  • Support facilities managers with various tasks and projects as required, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the facilities team.
  • Be available to assist other offices as needed for facilities and workplace.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and demonstrate a willingness to assist others. Foster a positive and cooperative work environment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2-5 years of experience as a facilities coordinator, supervisor, or lead in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • You have technical training and experience in plant engineering or maintenance, or comparable professional experience.
  • Familiar with the operation and servicing of vehicles, forklifts, aerial man lifts, and gantry and bridge cranes and hoists.
  • Proficient in CMMS and experience with ERM software.
  • You have experience in vendor management, service contracts, and budgets.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Physical capability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to travel and support multiple office locations as needed.
  • Familiarity with fire life safety systems and procedures.
  • Ability and willingness to handle emergencies outside of normal working hours.
  • Familiar with OSHA and environmental regulations, building codes, NFPA, and NEC.
