Housekeeper – Assisted Living Facility Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team! The ideal candidate will possess strong cleaning skills, a commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment, and experience in custodial or janitorial work. This position will play a vital role in ensuring residents enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming living space by performing thorough cleaning and sanitation tasks with professionalism and care.

Job :

• Clean resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and dining spaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to ensure effective sanitation while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring accessibility and safety.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning activities to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent quality across all areas of the facility.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed, including sorting, washing, folding, and distributing linens and clothing.
• Support infection control protocols by following proper sanitation procedures and using personal protective equipment when necessary.

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques specific to healthcare or assisted living environments is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines related to the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy setting.

We are hiring 1 full time position (40 hours / week) and 1 part time position (20 hours / week). E/O/E

From $14.00 per hour
