Overnight Security Officer

Overnight Security Officer – Full Time – Corvallis, OR

Available Shift: Thursday - Monday 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour

What Your Day May Look Like

• Conflict resolution and de‑escalation.
• Secure entrances/surfaces.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises in varying weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or the scene of an incident during emergencies or investigations.
• Set up barriers/signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties as required for the assigned site.

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete a GED program within 6 months.
• Strong computer/technology skills needed.
• Must have excellent multitasking skills.
• Customer‑service background preferred.
• At least 6 months prior security, law‑enforcement, or military experience required.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout the shift.
• Must respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and use appropriate escalation measures.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre‑employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
