Position SummaryThis recruitment will be used to fill three (3) part‑time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Program Specialist positions for the Office of Community Engagement & Leadership at Oregon State University (OSU).
Program Leaders are core to the success of Community Engagement & Leadership and are integral in the advancement of CEL’s mission. Program Leaders support students in building skills and confidence as leaders and change agents; they will learn how to lead peers in facilitating learning experiences for students to strengthen their leadership identity and gain knowledge and skills in self‑awareness, building relationships, collaborating with others, and taking mindful action on social issues.
The position’s main responsibilities include mentoring and coaching teammates in planning events, building reciprocal relationships with community partners, consulting with and promoting opportunities to students/peers, and delivering educational programs for students this position, students gain leadership and future readiness skills, including problem solving, communication, teamwork, and facilitation of inclusive events and peer‑to‑peer learning experiences.
Students will also advance their personal social responsibility and leadership, including values‑based, strengths‑based, relational, and socially conscious practices. CEL is a learning organization and community that believes in continuous learning and growth, demonstrating care for each other at work, and that each person on the team has valuable gifts to offer.

- Strengthen office operations, culture, and team dynamics by facilitating feedback processes each term with CEL staff and analyzing data to make recommendations.
