The Office of the Registrar is seeking an Articulation Compliance Coordinator. This is a full‑time (1.00 FTE), 12‑month, professional faculty position.
The Office of the Registrar is an Oregon State University mission‑critical unit. We safeguard institutional integrity while helping meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff. We play a critical role in serving the needs of students throughout the student lifecycle, from admission through degree completion and beyond; provide faculty and staff with timely and accurate expertise, resources, and systems solutions;
and co‑create, shepherd, implement, interpret, and uphold academic policies and regulations, accreditation standards, and laws.
The office serves as an institutional partner, providing a clear path for student success, and we value expertise, innovation, inclusion, and collaboration. We provide enrollment and instructional services, maintain academic history, and offer support services to students, staff, and faculty. Key Responsibilities 60% Course Articulation- Processes and articulates new and updated transfer courses utilizing SIS and established workflow platforms.
- Utilizes College Source Transfer Evaluation System (TES) software to research and inform articulation decisions.
- Collects and interprets updated information regarding course content to maintain accuracy, consistency, and integrity of transfer evaluations. Identifies key data to inform course articulation decisions.
- Researches and analyzes accreditation, grading system, course level, and degree program context from other institutions. Provides reports or information to the Sr. Assistant Registrar to inform articulation and other decisions including those that affect academic policy.
- Researches and analyzes accreditation, grading system, course level, and degree program context from institutions outside the United States for the purpose of education abroad articulation. Works closely with Office of the Registrar Operations Team to ensure effective and efficient posting of education abroad credit.
- Monitors the curriculum for new and revised courses, updates to articulations based on annual changes at Oregon institutions posted to OrACRAO website.
- Enforces University transfer credit policies and provides expertise on compliance controls related to course articulation. Complies with, and adheres to, FERPA. Follows guidelines provided by university, state law, AACRAO and industry best practices.
