Job Summary

The College of Education invites applications for one or more fixed-term, non-tenure-track part-time instructor positions to teach on a term-to-term basis for the  academic year.

Some of these appointments may be reviewed for renewal or transition to an instructional position on an annual basis at the discretion of the Dean.

Applications submitted to this recruitment pool are reviewed on an as needed basis. Qualified candidates will be contacted when positions become available.

The purpose of this position is to develop and/or deliver courses for the College of Education's Adult and Higher Education program. Courses may be hybrid or fully online in undergraduate or graduate programs and graduate certificates.

This position is directly responsible to advance the missions of the College of Education and the Adult and Higher Education (AHE) program area.

The vision of the college is to develop change agents in the form of researchers, scholars, learning leaders, teachers and counselors. The AHE programs guide students in becoming socially just leaders and change agents in a variety of educational contexts. The program endeavors to prepare educators and educational leaders committed to social justice in nationally-recognized doctoral and master's programs.
